Membership Compliance
Strict Adherence to Consent Rules.
Failure to comply with our consent standards will result in immediate removal from the event and revocation of your membership, without exception.
Behavioral Etiquette
Respect the Community.
Cultivate a sensual, comfortable atmosphere by treating all members with kindness and courtesy. Be mindful of others, and avoid causing discomfort. Violations may result in membership revocation.
Respect Personal Space.
Keep your hands to yourself and maintain respectful distances. Touching others, including Marquee staff, requires explicit consent. See the Consent Etiquette section for further guidance.
No Photography or Videography.
To protect privacy, a strict no-photo/no-video policy is enforced at all events. Phones should remain in lockers for the duration of the event.
Courtesy Toward Staff.
Our team is here to support your experience. Disrespect or harassment towards staff will not be tolerated, as they are integral members of the Marquee community and deserve the same respect as all attendees.
Stay Sober.
Members who appear overly intoxicated will be asked to leave for the safety and security of all. Noncompliance with this rule may result in membership suspension or revocation.
No Smoking Indoors.
To promote health and safety, smoking is prohibited inside the venue. Designated smoking areas are available.
No Pressure, Only Enjoyment.
Participation is always voluntary. Set your own boundaries and enjoy the experience at your own pace.
Zero Tolerance for Intolerance.
Discrimination of any form—including racist, homophobic, or transphobic comments—is not accepted. Marquee values respect for all bodies, equitable dynamics, and diverse preferences.
Promptly Report Issues.
If you experience or witness behavior that violates our guidelines, inform a Marquee team member immediately to help us maintain a safe environment.
Speak Up.
If you have concerns during an event, contact a member of our security team or a Marquee host for immediate assistance.
Share Your Feedback.
If you encounter any issues at an event, email us at info@TheMarquee.nl. Your feedback is taken seriously, and we strive to resolve any problems promptly.
Sanctions for Misconduct.
If concerns arise about your behavior from the Marquee team or fellow members, your membership may be suspended for a minimum of six months to allow us to assess your suitability for our community. In cases of formal complaints, we reserve the right to extend this suspension until a resolution is reached.
Consent Etiquette
Observing…
Respect Boundaries. Do not touch others without explicit consent, and avoid interrupting scenes or being intrusive. Always ask for permission if you wish to engage with someone involved in an activity.
Voyeurism with Respect. Observing is acceptable, but know your limits. Avoid staring without invitation, and if you identify as a voyeur, refrain from playing alone while watching others, as this may create a non-consensual experience.
Engaging…
Respect Shared Spaces. Be considerate of shared spaces, keeping them clean and hygienic. Avoid interrupting others' activities, and always seek consent before any physical interaction, even during play.
Consent for Participation. If you wish to involve someone else in a scene you’re part of, ensure all parties consent. If consent is not granted, continue without them or play separately.
Immediate Membership Revocation for Noncompliance. Violating our consent guidelines will result in immediate termination of membership and exclusion from future Marquee events.
